US digital marketing platform IntellaSphere to acquire Mumbai firm Edgytal

Seattle-based digital marketing platform IntellaSphere Inc. said it has agreed in principle to acquire Mumbai-headquartered Edgytal operating in the same segment.

IntellaSphere, which also has an office in Hyderabad, runs a SaaS-based Brand Affinity Marketing System. Edgytal is a full-stack digital marketing agency with a presence in the US and Canada. Personnel of IntellaSphere’s India operations will merge with Edgytal under the aegis of the Mumbai-based firm’s CEO Kriti Bhargava.

“We are pleased to join forces, support IntellaSphere and make their Brand Affinity Marketing System available immediately,” said Aditya Mehta, MD, Edgytal India.

Mehta will join IntellaSphere US as vice-president of business development. One of Mehta’s aims is to explore partnerships in order to extend the scope of IntellaSphere’s opportunities in the digital marketing space.

Edgytal, through its headquarters in Mumbai and operations in the US and Canada, has served over 100 clients in eight countries by harnessing digital marketing for various brands and developing presence, campaigns and demand in the digital space.
