Tech consultant Cybage opens training facility in GIFT City

Technology consultant Cybage Software Pvt. Ltd has announced the opening of a 300-seater facility focused on skill development at a financial centre called Gujarat International Finance Tec-City, or GIFT City, at Gandhinagar, in Gujarat.

Pune-headquartered Cybage has eight centres globally, with a workforce of 5,800. In a recent announcement, the company said that it was looking to add 1,000 employees over the year. The new facility at GIFT City is a part of Cybage’s global expansion drive. In March, the company had announced setting up a 700-seater facility in Pune.

“We have grown considerably in terms of client number and work volume, which requires greater infrastructural support and workforce. India serves as the epicentre of our ‘glocal’ expansion strategy, along with being the biggest professional talent pool out there. With positive results in the past quarters and aggressive expansion driven by large-scale recruitment, we are aiming for 16% to 17% organic growth for the current financial year,” said Arun Nathani, CEO and managing director of Cybage, in a release.

The company is also looking to set up a stronger base in northern and northwestern Europe, the US and Canada. The organisation, which operates in the outsourced product engineering space, has a presence across verticals including media and advertising, travel and hospitality, online retail, healthcare and life sciences.
