Cognizant to acquire digital transformation consultant SaaSfocus

Infotech major Cognizant on Thursday said it will acquire SaaSfocus, a consulting firm specialising in digital transformation, for an undisclosed amount. 

Founded in 2009 and based in NCR (National Capital Region), SaaSfocus is run mostly by Indians. The company is one of the largest consulting partners for Salesforce customers in the Asia-Pacific region. Salesforce is a global leader in cloud-based customer relationship management software.

Cognizant said that the transaction was expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2018. The acquisition will expand Cognizant’s digital transformation services and Salesforce cloud capabilities in the Asia-Pacific region.

SaaSfocus has implemented more than 1,500 Salesforce projects. 
 
Nasdaq-listed Cognizant is a Salesforce global strategic partner and has one of the largest rosters of Salesforce-certified consultants in the world, according to the company. It said that more than 350 SaaSfocus consultants with deep domain expertise in the financial services, insurance, manufacturing and automotive industries will add to Cognizant’s Salesforce practice.
