Sales-tech startup Hyperdata.IO raises money from CCube Angels Network
Hyderabad-based Krisam Software Pvt. Ltd, which operates sales-tech startup Hyperdata.IO, has raised Rs 50 lakh ($75,000) from Singapore-based CCube Angels Network, the company said.
Some of the key investors leading the round include Frontline Strategy Ltd founding partner and angel investor Atim Kabra, and Abhay Deshpande, a SaaS veteran and serial entrepreneur.
Hyperdata was founded in 2017 by Samrat Krishna and Manjunath Sindagi. Krishna, an IIT-Madras dropout, had held early-stage roles in several high-growth startups, including Instamojo, Wingify and Capillary Technologies. Sindagi, an IIIT-Bangalore alumnus had stints in Red Hat, Credit Pointe, which was acquired by Genpact, and Network 18.
Hyperdata is a business-to-business sales intelligence platform. It combines advanced machine learning with human intelligence to deliver insights into customer preferences, and helps sales teams align them to their goals to build long-lasting relationships.
Hyperdata believes most of this information is usually unstructured and is difficult to access for a sales executive manually and this leads to missed opportunities, ignored threats to the pipeline and a dry, impersonal outreach.
Leveraging the power of advanced natural language processing features and machine learning, Hyperdata facilitates seamless delivery of structured pieces of information to sales and marketing teams, which helps them answer key questions like whom to target, when to target and what to pitch.
“The funds and the strategic partnerships established in this round will help us strengthen our product offering, increase data coverage, improve quality and add new signals,” said Krishna.
“We witness the need for time-sensitive actionable sales leads across our portfolio companies all the time. Hyperdata fulfils a very critical need in the marketplace for actionable intelligence,” said Atim Kabra, managing director of Frontline Strategy, and manager of CCube Angels Network.
Hyperdata had recently invited businesses to access the beta version of its platform and is currently working with a set of enterprises in India.
In August 2015, Ccube Angels, a Singapore-based angel investors’ community and Mauritius-headquartered investment firm Frontline Strategy Ltd had acquired a minority stake in Wetravelsolo.com, an online platform that organises special interest tours for solo travellers.
In September 2013, Mumbai-based Omnipresent Retail Pvt. Ltd, which owns and operates online shopping portal, had received $600,000 from C Cube Angels.
