Samsung unveils Galaxy J7 Prime, J5 Prime smartphones in India
Samsung India on Monday announced the launch of mid-budget smartphones Galaxy J7 Prime and Galaxy J5 Prime. The company has priced Galaxy J7 Prime for Rs 18,790 while the J7 Prime is priced at Rs 14,790. The two phones will be available in gold and black colours.
Samsung has also tied-up with Vodafone to offer data recharge benefits. The company in the statement said that users will get 9GB data, when they recharge with a data pack of 1GB or above. It added that users can avail of this benefit for three recharges or over three months.
Both the phones come with features like S power planning and S secure. The S power planning feature allows the user to have reserve battery for calls and extended battery time while S secure comes with various security and privacy features.
The Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a 5.5-inch HD display and 2.5D curved glass design while J5 Prime features a 5-inch display. The Galaxy J7 Prime is equipped with octa-core processor paired with 3GB RAM whereas the J5 Prime comes with a quad-core processor and 2GB RAM.
Both the phones come with dual-sim and MicroSD card support and are expandable up to 256GB. Both J7 Prime and J5 Prime also come with fingerprint scanner.
On the imaging front, Galaxy J7 Prime comes with a 13MP rear and 8MP front camera, both with f1.9 aperture, while the Galaxy J5 Prime has a 13MP rear (with f1.9 aperture) and 5MP front camera. The Galaxy J7 Prime is available in the market now and Galaxy J5 Prime will be available by end of September 2016.
