White Uncorn Ventures rolls out its first co-working space in Mumbai

Mumbai-based early-stage venture capital firm White Unicorn Ventures has rolled out its first incubation co-working space called 'Unicorn Growth Centre'. The centre, located in Santa Cruz West, can accommodate six firms with up to 10 employees each.

"We will be starting two more Growth Centres which will be slightly bigger and will be spread across more than 4000 square feet. The first one at Powai will accommodate about 10 companies while the second one will come up in Andheri West," said Rohit Chokhani, principal founder, White Unicorn Ventures. "Our aim is to double the capacity in the next two years."

Already six companies – Unstockify, Blue Blox Consultancy, Prime Squares, Aarchon and Nature-Nama – have moved into the first centre, a statement from White Unicorn Ventures said.

The centre offers its occupants services such as online marketing, OOH media, secretarial services, chartered accountancy services, legal services and treasury management besides regular office facilities.

White Unicorn Ventures is a venture capital firm that provides seed funding and early-stage support to startups. The VC firm has so far invested in 15 companies that include Routofy, Shaadisaga, Justride, Unstockify, Hostelhousing, Lernr, Carcrew amongst others. White Unicorn Ventures plans to raise a $20-million fund to invest in early stage startups and aims to invest up to $5 million by the end of 2016.
