RentoMojo appoints Munjal Dhamecha as CTO
Bangalore-based Edunetwork Pvt Ltd, which operates home appliances and furniture rental marketplace RentoMojo, has appointed Munjal Dhamecha as its chief technology officer.
Dhamecha will work on developing RentoMojo's automation processes to improve efficiency, the startup said in a statement.
He will also devise innovative uses of new technologies, optimise data heavy processes to reduce risk and build long-term technical strategies to help expand the business.
Dhamecha has about 11 years of experience. Prior to RentoMojo, he worked with accommodation listing portal Grabhouse as the CTO from May 2014 to January 2016. He has also worked with Inknowledge Inc, JustDial and Reliance Communications Ltd.
RentoMojo was founded in November 2014 by IIT Madras graduates Geetansh Bamania and Ajay Nain. The startup allows users to rent furniture, home furnishings and appliances for at least three months. It operates in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi NCR and Pune.
In 2014, the startup raised seed funding from London-based investors it didn't name. In November 2015, it secured $2 million in pre-Series A funding from Accel Partners and IDG Ventures India.
