Perfumery gets seed funding from Oranda Global, others
Perfumery, an e-commerce platform that sells perfumes, has raised an undisclosed amount in its seed round of funding led by Delhi-based Oranda Global.
Several angel investors also participated in this round, according to a report in The Tech Portal.
The company didn't respond to a Techcircle.in query.
The company will use the funds to expand and create a specialised marketplace for luxury perfumes, the report said.
It provides perfumes in the range of Rs 500-Rs 3,000 through its online platform, according to its website.
The startup was founded in August 2015 by Mohit Khatri, Tushar Patel and Shaurya Kiran. It launched its portal in January this year.
The company is working with the Software Startups Association, according to the association's website. The association mentors startups in terms of strategy and talent management, besides providing other services.
Oranda, led by chairman Ajay K Dhir, offers consulting services to small and medium-sized companies in a wide range of sectors including utilities, infrastructure, realty, financial services, hospitality and healthcare. Dhir is also on the advisory board of the Software Startups Association.
