Recap 2015: Bangalore corners VC money as angels rush to Delhi NCR
Karnataka, home to India's Silicon Valley Bangalore, retained its pole position as the state where startups attracted bulk of venture investments in 2015, according to VCCEdge, the data research platform of VCCircle.
However, Delhi NCR, which includes Gurgaon (part of Haryana) and Noida (part of Uttar Pradesh) besides Delhi, took the lead for startups getting first external funding - namely angel and seed-stage capital.
Maharashtra came a close second for both VC and angel investments.
