Flipkart-owned fashion e-tailer Myntra said on Thursday that its HR chief Pooja Gupta and head of new initiatives Ganesh Subramanian have quit.

The development come a few months after Myntra named former McKinsey India director Ananth Narayanan as CEO as part of a rejig in which the company's co-founder Mukesh Bansal became board chairman. Narayanan is to join Myntra on October 1.

Subramanian's exit was first reported by The Economic Times.

"I am starting something on my own in the consumer internet space," he told the publication. Subramanian could not be immediately reached for a comment.

Subramanian, who joined Myntra in 2012, had worked as chief merchandising officer and chief operating officer before being appointed as the head of new initiatives eight months ago. He will remain with the company till October.

On the other hand, Pooja joined Myntra in 2010. She had previously worked with software corporation SAP and IT company Mindtree. She will leave Myntra by the current month-end.

Myntra which recently killed its web presence to go app-only, hopes to become profitable by 2016-17 as it phases out discounts and generates higher margins from online apparel sale.

Myntra's parent Flipkart has also been witnessing a string of exits lately. In August, CEOs of Appiterate and AdIQuity, startups that were acquired by Flipkart earlier this year, left within six months.

However, both Flipkart and Myntra are scouting for talent to fill senior level positions. Myntra had recently appointed ex-Google Kenghe as senior vice president and product head.
