Big Data firm Corporate360 raises $200K in angel funding
India and Singapore-based Corporate360 Pte Ltd (C360), a SaaS company that provides IT sales intelligence data services to enterprises, has raised $200,000 (about Rs 1.2 crore) in angel funding from a few unnamed Japan- and Singapore-based investors, according to a top executive of the company.
The funds raised will be used to launch a new marketing data product and expand the data science and sales teams. The startup, which had recently opened an office in a rural area in South Kerala, is currently employing 30 engineers and constructing a 50-person technology park.
The startup was founded in 2012 by Varun Chandran, a college dropout who has been a sales & marketing executive with tech companies like SAP, Oracle, Dell and NetApp.
Corporate360 offers IT sales intelligence data services to various enterprises. It offers four products — Tech SalesCloud, a data solution designed for technology industry offering company profile, tech install intelligence, contact data and predictive analytics; DataFactory, a B2B marketing data software delivered as Data-as-a-Service model, offering company profile and contact intelligence; Peep, a social media visualisation application that aggregates, normalise and presents all social media profiles/data of contacts in a unified window; and SataStudio, a data service offering curated data services, data mining, predictive analytics and social sentiments.
With global offices in California, Liverpool, Manila, Singapore and India, the company employs over 70 IT sales consultants exclusively focused on technology sales development research and data services.
It claims it has over 90 international clients including HP, Dell and Oracle.
Recently, another Singapore and India-based Big Data firm Antuit raised $56 million from Goldman Sachs & Zodius Capital.
