Lenovo launches S8 tablet & Yoga Tablet 2 Pro in India for Rs 16,990 and Rs 49,490 respectively
Within days of introducing the 8 and 10 inch models of Yoga Tablet 2, Lenovo has now launched their big brother in the Indian market. Christened Yoga Tablet 2 Pro, this one sports a massive 13.3 inch display and runs on the Android operating system. Apart from its large screen, the highlight of the tablet is that it comes with a built-in Pico projector, which can project images at 16:9 ratio.
"As more and more people are using tablets to explore the digital world, users are demanding bigger screens for a powerful visual experience. Hence the Yoga Tablet 2 Pro elevates the original Yoga Tablet experience with technologies like the projector – a first for tablets," said Rohit Midha, director, tablet business unit, Lenovo India.
In addition, the company has also launched a mid-range tablet called S8. Like the name already suggests, it sports an 8 inch display and runs on the Android operating system. This one has been priced at Rs 16,990 in the country. It was first unveiled at IFA earlier this year. Both the tablets are available for purchase exclusively on home grown e-commerce marketplace Flipkart.com.
