Meet the 8 startups picked for think tank iSPIRT's incubation programme
A group of 30 software product companies including some led by new age tech entrepreneurs like InMobi's Naveen Tewari and PubMatic's Amar Goel, besides VC investors and software product firms like Tally had come together to form product startup think tank iSPIRT. Initially, it focused on addressing challenges related to M&A and facilitated Little Eye Lab's acquisition by social networking giant Facebook.
It also went on to address the need for more early-stage risk capital for the industry, and in August this year, announced the launch of a one year incubation programme. Here's a quick look at the eight startups picked for its first batch:
ApnaStock Solutions: It helps individual home builders and small developers get wholesale price and logistics benefits which are usually available only to large national builders.
Exclusife: A sales acceleration app for Indian Retail SMEs that allows businesses to capture real-time information about all their store visitors.
Global Groupware Solutions: It runs EmployWise, an integrated SaaS employee life-cycle management software that can handle all aspects of HR needs from recruitment to retirement.
Inquirly Technologies: It is an integrated customer experience management platform that enables companies to move beyond the limitations of traditional digital marketing, sales, and customer service and employee engagement.
PowerStores Ecommerce: Offers a SaaS based e-commerce platform targeting the SME sector in Asia.
SignEasy: Has developed a convenient way to sign documents and fill forms from Apple iPads and iPhones.
The Media Ant: It is creating a marketplace for offline media and is currently aggregating over 5,000 media options comprising of magazine, radio, cinema, airport, airlines and other non traditional media.
VoiceTree Technologies: It runs MyOperator, a call management system which acts as a platform for organising phone calls in a simpler and affordable way.
