A look at the 8 startups showcased at Techcircle Startup 2014
At the recently concluded Techcircle Startup 2014, eight promising startups showcased their solutions from varied fields that ranged from financial advice on wealth building, cheap travelling/hotel stay, to early and regular medical checkups, among others. The startups were selected from a list of 30 applications received by Techcircle.in.
The jury for the session consisted of Anand Vemuri, co-founder, 91springboard and Girish Shivani, executive director & fund manager, YourNest Angel Fund. Two out of the eight participating startups- Ad Push Up and Find My Stay were also shortlisted by the jury for free mentorship. The 'Techcircle Showcase' was powered by Nasscom 10,000 Startups.

Ad Pushup: An ad revenue optimisation tool that can help publishers and bloggers make more money from their existing website traffic using advanced automated A/B testing without the need for any programming knowledge.
Agelink Internet Venture: A global B2B online marketplace that connects businesses with service providers in over 50 categories in marketing, advertising and digital services. According to the company, 80 per cent of all marketing services consumed by businesses are project based relationships leading businesses to source, identify and negotiate with multiple service providers for each project. Agenncyonnet operates as a marketplace where businesses can find such service providers easily and vice versa.
Find My Stay: A reverse auctioning hotel booking platform that allows customers to book hotel at a price they wish to pay. While customers can choose what they want to pay for their hotel stay through its bidding platform, hotels can choose to accept, reject or give a counter offer depending on their occupancy level- all the while maintaining their online rate parity.
Healthians.com: The startup provides a comprehensive health check up solutions according to a person's age/gender/risk areas/habits etc., while guiding the user all the way till they actually takes a check up. This is done in collaboration with their expert panel of doctors and hospitals across India. A user will find information about a disease, related symptoms, and a detailed process of the check up at the site.
HelloTravel: It has built a global online platform for the discovery of travel agents and travel services based on trust (reviews and ratings submitted by travel consumers). The advantage to travel agents is that they get regular leads at no upfront cost, so they can invest their time in selling packages. The travellers, on the other hand, get multiple quotations and best rates from credible travel agents.
InvestEaze: It provides unbiased one-click investment advice for the common man based on their personal goals. To make the investment decision process even easier, a social feed is available right on the dashboard to share and ask friends for investment recommendations and advice. According to the company, it wants to provide automated investment management services for free and in a simplistic manner, so that even people without financial knowledge can invest easily.
Refiral: It helps users target all three pain points for any e-commerce website, which is increasing the conversion rate, acquiring new customers, and retaining existing ones. According to the company, with its tool, e-commerce sites can boost sales up to 3x via a one-time setup, fully automated and 100 per cent customisable social referral campaign.
Vidooly: The startup is building a global YouTube video marketing and analytics product for small and large brands, YouTube content creators and media agencies, helping them to grow and optimise their YouTube videos marketing through a set of marketing and analytics tools. With Vidooly, users can send a YouTube video inside an email box and track all the video analytics in real time.
