Google India's country head for products Lalitesh Katragadda puts in his papers
Lalitesh Katragadda, country head- products, at Google India has left the company. While details on his future plans are not available as of now, a Google spokesperson has confirmed Katragadda's departure from the company, according to MediaNama.

Katragada had joined Google back in 2002 and has had a 12 year stint with the company. At Google, he was part of the team that set up the company's India operations, and along with Krishna Bharat was its founding co-center head for two years.
He had also started or co-founded several projects at the company including Google Transliteration- Google's free online language translation service that instantly translates text and web pages; Google Finance- enables users to get real-time stock quotes & charts, financial news, currency conversions, or track their portfolio; and Google Map Maker- allows its users to add and update geographic information for millions of users to see in Google Maps and Google Earth.
Prior to Google, Katragadda had founded a robotics startup that was acquired by the search giant. An IIT Bombay alumnus, he received his PhD in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University (US). He also holds a MS degree from Stanford University's Design Division and a MS in Aerospace from Iowa State University.
