Span Digital's founder Kushal Sanghvi joins Reliance ADAG as business head, to set up its digital ad agency
Kushal Sanghvi, the founder and former CEO of Span Digital, has joined Reliance Entertainment and Digital (part of Reliance ADAG) as its business head, according to a report by Afaqs.
Sanghvi, who quit Span Digital in December last year, will be responsible for setting up a digital and new media advertising agency for Reliance ADAG, the report said citing sources. The new venture will offer services in data, media, search, social, wireless, mobile, content, syndication & activation and will have a presence across all major cities in India.
This is Sanghvi's second stint at Reliance ADAG. Previously, he was the head of business intelligence for the company during 2006-2008. He holds an MBA in marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), Mumbai and an M Com from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics. He is a serial entrepreneur and has already founded three media agencies in his career till now. He was also a member of the founding team at Rediff.com.
Sanghvi had launched Span Digital, which provides social media campaigning, CRM-driven marketing, web advertising, mobile app development, website branding, SEO and online PR, in 2012. He had also earlier built Concept Digital and Spiider Digital Hub. Previously, he has held various roles at StratosHear Technologies, Havas Digital and Media Contacts, Rediff.com and The Times Group.
