LinguaNext was founded in 2010 by Jagdish Sahasrabudhe (CEO) along with Rajeev Phadke (CTO). An MS in Computer Science, Sahasrabudhe comes with over two decades of global sales experience. Prior to setting up LinguaNext, he was vice president (solution architects) at SAP (APAC and Japan). His partner Phadke holds an MTech degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay. LinguaNext

LinguaNext enables enterprise applications to be localised into multiple languages without making any changes to the application code or database. Its flagship product, called Linguify, allows users to operate the software in any language of their choice. The firm claims its platform has enabled several enterprises, software vendors and system integrators to quickly bridge language gaps by enabling localisation in weeks as opposed to months or years.

Currently, LinguaNext is working with leading mobile device OEMs and mobile app providers to allow availability of apps and content in non-English languages. The company has also established partnerships with SAP, Ramco, SAGE and other global independent software vendors (ISVs) and system integrators. The firm has a roster of over 60 large enterprise customers with a deployment base of over one million end users.

"This funding will enable us to increase our partnership and customer base more rapidly. Though we have been adding customers and OEMs globally, these efforts were largely managed from India. Now, our immediate focus is to foray into the US and Japanese markets, along with increasing our rate of growth in India," said Jagdish Sahasrabudhe, co-founder and CEO, LinguaNext.
