OnMobile appoints Sanjay Bhambri as chief commercial officer
OnMobile Global Ltd, a leading provider of telecom value-added services (VAS), has appointed Sanjay Bhambri as its chief commercial officer (CCO). He will head the company's global client facing unit and lead teams in Latin America, Europe and North America.
Bhambri rejoined OnMobile a year ago (August 2012), and has been with the company as its regional vice president for emerging markets. In that role, he was handling the company's engagements in regions such as India, Asia Pacific, the Middle East and Africa, and was driving growth and streamlining operations in the geographies.
"OnMobile is currently present in 59 countries across the globe and I look forward to helping the company establish itself as the global leader in the mobile services space- by maximising revenues from our current footprint and expanding the footprint," said Bhambri.
He worked with OnMobile for over six years, and was the VP-APAC and MEA for OnMobile till November 2011, before leaving the company to join Enzen Global Solutions as senior VP, infrastructure solutions. Earlier, he also worked at companies like Hughes Network Systems, Galileo India Pvt Ltd and Microland, and holds an MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), Delhi.
