Mobile POS startup Mswipe developing a B2C pin-input swiper, plans to raise Series B funding by 2013 end: Manish Patel, CEO
Founded in March 2011 by Manish Patel, mobile POS solution provider Mswipe mainly targets small and medium enterprises (SMEs). It offers Swipe, a POS service for small merchants that enables plastic card payments via mobile phones. Fuelled by an angel round in 2012, which was followed by an undisclosed Series A (the company was looking to raise $5 Million) by Matrix Partners in January this year, the startup is now planning to develop a unique business-to-consumer (B2C) card swiper.
In an exclusive chat with Techcircle, Patel talks about the company's synergies with its US partner ROAM Data, Series B funding plans and how the new RBI guidelines will affect its business. Watch the video for more.
