Rashmi Berry steps down as Homeshop18 CMO within a year
Network18 owned Homeshop18's Rashmi Berry has stepped down as the chief marketing officer (CMO) within a year of taking up the post.
Rashmi was appointed CMO of Homeshop18, run by TV18 Home Shopping Network Ltd, a teleshopping and e-commerce firm of the Network18 Group, in July 2012.
Techcircle tried to contact the company to get a response on the development and who would take over her role, but the spokesperson was not immediately available.
The news was first reported by Medianama.
Before Homeshop18, Rashmi Berry had worked as the business head of HT Content and Syndication Services at HT Media. An MBA from Faculty of Management Studies (FMS), University of Delhi, she has over 18 years of experience in branding and marketing across industry verticals.
In January, HomeShop18 claimed it was clocking a transaction every five seconds which means around 17,000 transactions a day.
Techcircle.in had also earlier reported that the firm was eyeing to raise $50 million in what would be another round of private funding before it goes public.
