Inkfruit co-founder & eBay India exec Sushant Sreeram joins HolidayIQ

HolidayIQ.com, a travel information and review portal run by Bangalore-based Leisure and Lifestyle Information Services Pvt Ltd, has roped in Sushant Sreeram as vice-president, product marketing. Prior to joining the company, Sreeram was looking after acquisition marketing at eBay India. In his new role, Sreeram will look after the growth and profitability of the business by enhancing product marketing initiatives. The appointment was first reported by IndiaDigitalReview.

Sreeram also co-founded Fingerprints Fashion Ltd that runs the fashion merchandise e-shop, Inkfruit. Earlier, he had worked with Textron Inc and Hindustan Lever.

"HolidayIQ.com is one of the most interesting players in the Indian travel space over the last 5-10 years. With its focus on the Indian traveller, it is clearly poised to become the de-facto destination for holidayers across the country and I couldn't miss the opportunity to be part of this amazing ride," said Sreeram while talking to IndiaDigitalReview.

HolidayIQ.com is a travel information portal which claims to have around 30,000 Indian hotels and 1,300 Indian destinations listed on the website. Founded in 2004, it was backed by a group of investors including HCL co-founder DS Puri and Accel Partners. The company was acquired by Singapore-based travel metasearch portal Wego in 2010.
