Saxon Global acquires Bangalore-based data analytics firm ISAC Global

US-based data and analytics consulting company Saxon Global Inc has acquired Bangalore-based Ideas Software and Consulting Pvt Ltd (ISAC Global), a boutique big data and web intelligence solutions firm for an undisclosed amount.

As a part of the deal, Haricharan S M, CEO and co-founder of ISAC Global, will join Saxon as COO, while Sudhir Patavardhan, founder and CTO of ISAC Global, will continue to lead technology development and engineering efforts of Saxon Global. This acquisition is expected to boost Saxon's expertise in big data analytics and web intelligence and complement its business intelligence and data warehousing solutions offering.

"This acquisition is strategic as well as tactical for Saxon to enhance our business and our service offerings in all our target markets. They are very niche and strong in the big data and web analytics space and bring deep engineering expertise in data management, analytics and big data. We are going to strengthen our management team in India through this acquisition,"  said Gopi Kandukuri, founder and CEO, Saxon Global.

ISAC Global owns Siteanalytix, a web analytics platform currently deployed at companies including Rediff and Carwale. Recently, the company launched big data platform for the US insurance sector in beta.

"We are currently testing the ISAC Platform-based Big Data solution with a few of our large enterprise customers, and the initial feedback is encouraging. Our goal is to move into a non-linear growth model over the next 18 months, by migrating all our customers to adopt our platform-based big data solution," said Gopi Kandukuri, Founder and Ceo, Saxon Global.

Saxon-Global is an end-to-end IT solutions provider. The company serves customers in industries such as hi-tech, banking and financial services, healthcare and retail.
