OnMobile co-founder Mouli Raman becomes MD; Company looking for CEO
After OnMobile co-founder and former CEO Arvind Rao stepped down from his role in July this year amid alleged financial misappropriation charges, the company seems to be acting cautious and has split the responsibilities of MD and CEO (Rao held both the positions from the start).
Mouli Raman, co-founder of the company, has been appointed managing director while OnMobile is still looking for a CEO, as reported by Business Standard. The report has also stated that this is first time that the company is appointing two different people for the positions of CEO and MD since its inception in 2000. When Rao resigned, Raman announced that he would be taking over as the MD.
The company spokesperson has stated that it is currently looking for a CEO and specific roles and responsibilities will be discussed only after someone comes on board.
