PubMatic ropes in its first general counsel as it gets IPO-ready
California-based digital media platform for publishers, PubMatic, has appointed Nadine Stocklin as general counsel. As general counsel, Nadine will be responsible for leading and supervising the company's legal affairs including contracts, acquisitions, licensing agreements, business partnerships and privacy-related matters.
Prior to joining PubMatic, Nadine was associate general counsel at QuinStreet, a publicly-listed online marketing and media company. Before QuinStreet, she worked at IAC Search and Media where she supported the Ask.com and Evite.com divisions.
"Stocklin understands the needs and challenges of our core clients: premium publishers, and will help us fulfill our promise to make it easier for sellers and buyers of digital advertising to work together," said Rajeev Goel, co-founder and CEO of PubMatic.
Recently, PubMatic also announced the appointment of its first chief marketing officer and last November roped in StevePantelick as its new chief financial officer. Pantelick's core strength is in readying companies for the stock exchanges.
Co-founded by Amar and Rajeev Goel in October 2006 and backed by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Nexus Venture Partners and Helion Venture, PubMatic is based in California and has seven offices spread across the US, Europe and Asia (including Pune).
Earlier this year, it added one more offering to its portfolio when it launched PubLink, an enterprise app marketplace for publishers. It also added mobile platform to its portfolio after acquiring Pune-based mobile development technology startup MobiPrimo.
