InMobi Launches Ad Tracker To Help Advertisers Measure Conversions On Mobile Web, App Campaigns
Bangalore and San Francisco-based mobile ad network InMobi has launched InMobi AdTracker, which will allow advertisers to measure multiple conversions on both mobile Web and app campaigns, across all advertising networks and publishers, providing real-time analytics. Based on Cloud, it does not rely on Unique Device Identifiers (UDID) and is hence free to integrate and use.
Commenting on the launch, Chandrashekhar Vattikuti, VP - products of InMobi said, "By integrating with the tracker, ad networks can get real time feedback on all conversions that they attribute, giving them accurate insights into their mobile campaign results and allowing them to optimise campaigns in real time. This will in turn drive more accountability for spends in mobile, benefiting the entire mobile ecosystem, from advertisers to publishers and app developers."
Vattikuti added, "InMobi Ad Tracker will use browser cookies to track conversions across apps and the mobile web as the primary conversion tracking technology."
InMobi, which rebranded its logo early this year, had recently roped in Sandeep Deshpande as the country general manager for India and Vishal Nongbet as business head of brands. InMobi had last year struck the largest deal in the mobile Internet space in India till date with $200 million commitment from Japan's Softbank Corp.
