Aptech Joins Hands With Hungama For M-education
Computer education and learning solutions company Aptech Ltd is partnering digital media and marketing firm Hungama Digital Media Entertainment Pvt Ltd for m-education, which would essentially involve using mobile as platform for distributing educational content.
In this strategic partnership Aptech will be responsible for creating specialised courses across faculties in a form that is compatible with digital channels and connected devices, while Hungama Digital Media will develop this content for over 90 devices and distribute it via the mobile, Internet and DTH eco-system.
Hungama has been venturing into a lot of new areas lately. Recently, it tied up with VH1 to bring its music to Airtel mobile subscribers through a service called Vh1 Radio Gaga. Prior to that, we saw it introducing 'filmy' games section in Mid-day.com which was powered by its own gaming portal TheGameBox.
Commenting on this latest partnership, Hungama MD & CEO Neeraj Roy said, "With access to faster data speeds and smarter devices, the customers have access to the very best education content, across various subjects and specialization. This content will be delivered and upgraded on a timely basis, at the touch of a button. Connected devices, especially with the power of touch will now become the new tool for more interactive forms of learning."
