Getit Launches Online Fashion Micro Community For Women

GETIT Infoservices Pvt Ltd, a local search and classifieds company has launched a fashion information website dedicated to women. It will cover categories across apparels, shoes, accessories, jewellery, watches, sunglasses to mention a few, which will help the users to obtain latest information on various brands and sellers in their city.

The community will let users to create or login through their account and upload content, share views, rate fashion brands, share pictures, videos and information through social networks such as Twitter, and Facebook.

The users can also search for brand catalogues, shops, resellers in their city which is powered by GETIT's search engine technology. The website also offers fashion, personal care and accessories deals (powered by Hotdeals and GetitMalls) in the form of widgets on the homepage.

Commenting on the launch, Sidharth Gupta, CEO, GETIT said, "GETIT wanted to provide a platform for women wherein they can access and share information about all the fashion brands under one roof as well as facilitate brands to showcase their products conveniently to the consumers."

Last November, GETIT had launched a new Hotdeals website which will provide deals to customers across categories.

A few weeks ago, GETIT collaborated with Loop Mobile in Mumbai to launch a service called 'Getit on Loop', through which GETIT powers Loop's local search and classifieds services for all Loop Mobile subscribers.
