Former Nokia Exec Chaitanya Prabhu Joins Reliance's Jump Games
Jump Games, a subsidiary of Reliance Entertainment (Digital) has appointed Chaitanya Prabhu as business head -- India.
His mandate will involve heading the entire business for Jump Games in India. He will be looking at increasing the revenue, identifying new models and making those work to garner revenues. In addition, Prabhu will work towards ad revenues and identify new content, and also look for collaborations with New Media and Bolloywood companies.
Till recently, he was with Nokia wherein he was responsible for setting up the Ovi Music Unlimited Service in India.
Prabhu said, "I am looking forward to see how content owners play a key part in the success of the mobile ecosystems. I do foresee a big opportunity for Jump games to be an integral part of the content and developer ecosystems and work with them to create exciting monetization models around gaming"
Having more than a decade experience in the digital arena, Prabhu, has previously worked with Shruti Telecom, Tandon Computers, Sony Music Entertainment, EMI Music, Universal Music Group and Reliance Retail before joining Nokia.
Prabhu is an MBA in marketing from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
