PE-backed Group FMG Appoints Michael Esposito As Senior VP & Publishing Head

Global marketing solutions company Group FMG, has roped in Michael Esposito as senior vice-president & head of publishing for the company.

In this role, Esposito will be responsible for managing Group FMG's global publishing vertical strategy, which includes business development, technology and operations. Esposito has held senior executive positions at companies including American Media, Inc. and Hachette Filipacchi Media, US.

He holds a doctorate degree in international business management from Pace University, where he also teaches business strategy and entrepreneurship.

Group FMG is a global provider of marketing and media solutions, headquartered in New York with offices in London, Bangalore and Chennai. It was formed with the integration of Whitefield, a marketing solutions startup backed by Indian private equity firm India Value Fund Advisors and Neeraj Bhargava's Zodius Capital and FMG, in which India Value Fund-led consortium invested about $20 million to pick a majority stake.

Last month Group FMG had launched its specialised mobile digital marketing service to help businesses and consumers design, develop and deliver interactive mobile solutions, apps and games across all mobile operating systems (OS) and devices that includes smartphones and Tablets.
