Delhi-based Start-up Twtbuck Tweaks Biz & Rebrands As Zuvvu

One year Old start-up Twtbuck, a social media ad platform has relaunched as Zuvvu. Zuvvu is a platform where one can discover his or her social media influence, participate in activities to improve it and get rewarded to help brands with targeted and quantifiable word of mouth advertising on social networks.

Talking about the rebranding, Gaurav Sharma, founder and chief executive officer of Zuvvu said, "Twtbuck was launched in 2010 as a twitter advertising platform. The name 'Twtbuck' was in sync with twitter. A lot of changes in the business model has been brought about since its launch. Now, it has become a full fledged social media ad platform. So in order to send the message a change of name was required as lots of requests of ad was coming which was in relation with twitter."

Zuvvu is also a part of this year's iAccelarator program, the flagship program of the Center for Innovation, Incubation and Entrepreneurship (CIIE) at IIM Ahmedabad.

Zuvvu is in talk with a few VCs and angel investors to raise money. Right now they are a team of six but once they manage to get investors they will be on an expansion mode. Sharma added, "We will be hiring 5-6 more people with good experience to contribute to the growth and will open a new sales office in the USA."
