9XM Launches Online Bollywood Music Store In Partnership With Hungama.com
9XM, a Bollywood music channel in India has entered the digital space by launching an online Bollywood music store called '9XM.Hungama.com' in partnership with Hungama.com. The store will allow users to sample, select and download Bollywood songs (and movie trailers) from a catalogue of more than 1,00,000 songs across different genres.
Users can also choose to download 9XM's characters (Bade-Chote, Beetel Nuts, Falli balli etc) in the form of videos and wall papers on their mobile phones. Users can either log on to 9xm.hungama.com or they can sms MSTORE to 54646 from their mobile phones to.

Additionally, the company has also launched an on-demand radio called '9XM Radio' for Bollywood Songs, celebrity interviews, among others. Listeners can also set songs aired on the channel as caller tunes on their phones through a 'Bollywood caller tunes' feature. To get 9XM Radio, viewers will have to dial 54646996 from their mobile phones.

Value Pack- Users can download a mix of 4 music tracks or ringtones or music videos or mobile wallpapers for Rs 20.
Super Value Pack- Priced at Rs 99, the pack lets users download 99 items (music tracks, ringtones, music videos or mobile wallpapers) at one time, or they can choose to download them within a month.
Earlier, Flipkart Online Services Pvt Ltd (that runs the e-commerce site Flipkart.com) had acquired Mallers Inc (Mime360), a company that is registered in US and Mumbai, in a cash and stock deal for the purpose of building its own digital media store. The search giant Google had also launched Google Music, an online music late last year.
