Joy Chakraborthy Bids Adieu To Zee Entertainment

The BSE listed broadcaster Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd's executive director–revenue and niche channels Joy Chakraborthy has bid adieu after a stint of six and a half years, to explore new opportunities, according to Media Mughals.

As an executive director, Chakraborthy led media sales and was the business unit head of channels such as Zee Khana Khazana, online casinos Zee Cafe, Zee Studio, Zee Trendz, ETC and Zing. He was promoted from CRO to executive director in May 2011. As an executive director, his role also involved strategising and initiating innovations at the broadcaster.

Chakraborthy has served in strategic media sales roles at Times Group and Star India Pvt Ltd prior to joining ZEEL. ZEEL runs various TV channels including Zee TV, Zee Cinema, Zee Music, Zee sports, Ten sports and ETC Networks.
