NEC India Partners With Trimax To Deliver SaaS Services
Integration and networking technologies provider NEC India Pvt Ltd has entered into a strategic partnership with Trimax IT Infrastructure & Services Limited (Trimax) , to explore opportunities in delivering "SaaS" services, the company disclosed in a statement today.
Under the partnership NEC will be leveraging Trimax's data center capabilities to provide business applications such as CRM, ERP, human resource management, inventory, security etc to the enterprise customers, the statement added.
Incorporated in August 2006, NEC India has interests in integrating IT and networking technologies for a diverse customer base across governments, businesses, individuals and society in India. It provides and develops solutions for carrier network, unified communications, retail, security and surveillance systems, IT and multimedia products to cater to the Indian market.
"We foresee strong market interest and adoption for cloud services in India and aim to empower SMBs with end-to-end SaaS solutions and applications that help enterprises reduce their operational costs," Ken Sugata, general manager at Global Carrier Cloud division, NEC Corporation commented on the association.
Trimax offers range of IT services to customers divided into enterprise solutions and managed IT Services businesses. Mumbai-based Trimax that is backed by PE firms like Zephyr Peacock and BanyanTree Growth Capital, is in the process of going public. It had recently filed a draft red herring prospectus with market regulator SEBI for a public offering.
Trimax is looking to sell 25 per cent stake in the issue, which also includes a partial exit by investor BanyanTree Growth Capital, which is halving its stake in the company.
