DigiVive Ropes In Ex-Virgin Mobile Head Of VAS Rohit Sawhney
Mobile value added service provider DigiVive has appointed Rohit Sawhney as its senior vice-president for operations.
Sawhney has an experience of over 15 years in telecom industry. Before moving to Digivive, Sawhney was employed with Virgin Mobile as head of VAS and was responsible for product development, social network, instant messaging and e-mail. He has also worked at Escotel Mobile Communications, Indiatimes.com and Airtel's fixed line and broadband business.
In his new role at Digivive, he will be responsible for growth of marketing, sales and content of the VAS business. Sawhney plans to focus on data VAS eco system with an emphasis on mobile TV and video based contents.

Digivive is a Gurgaon-based managed value added services provider that offers mobile TV and interactive voice response (IVR) services. It has offices in Mumbai and New York. Digivive is also the parent company of New-Delhi based e-commerce firm BenefitsPLUS Media Pvt Ltd which recently acquired group buying site Koovs.com for over $2 million.
