Zapak Digital, Webchutney Settle Payment Dispute
Digital media agency Webchutney has settled its legal dispute over unpaid dues with Reliance ADA group's gaming company Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd.
Webchutney had purchased ad space on Zapak's website for its clients but allegedly did not clear dues with Zapak Digital. Following this, Zapak Digital had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court for winding up of Web Chutney Studio Pvt Ltd, according to this report.
The matter was settled after Webchutney agreed to pay the dues, as per the report.
Webchutney is one of the large digital media agencies in India, known for its viral videos. Founded in 1999 its key clients include big ad spenders such as Unilever, P&G, HP, Airtel and Microsoft, among others.
Zapak Digital Entertainment Ltd is an online gaming website, established in 2005. It has 8 million registered gamers with interests in online gaming, social gaming, subscription gaming service, gaming cafés, physical games retail/distribution, MMOG publishing and mobile gaming.
A subsidiary of Reliance Entertainment it recently launched a new subscription based gaming service called Zapak Plus.
