Live Media Launches Live Digital For Mobile Marketing
Live Media, the digital out of home media company, has launched Live Digital, to solely focus on mobile marketing and services across various mobile channels including voice, text, rich media and video, the compay said on Tuesday.
Live Digital will bring integrated marketing solutions for brands using the mobile platform, and will also build communities through ad-funded content and services on mobiles, it added. Commenting on the launch of LiveDigital, Rajan Mehta, founder & ceo, LiveMedia said, "As the world moves towards smart phones, we think it is the right time to kickoff our mobile initiative. Currently mobile marketing is seen as spam based on the plethora of SMSes we get. Our endeavour is to change this definition by providing brands and users with a pleasurable experience through relevant and high quality content."
The firm has roped in Anuj Kumar as senior vice-president, and Ivon Parmanand as vice-president, sales and marketing. Kumar has worked with companies like Air2Web and Mobile2Win and was steering their mobile marketing initiatives. He has handled mobile marketing campaigns run by companies like Hero Honda, Yahoo!, American Express, and Dish TV, amongst others.
Parmanand comes with over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing with companies like Godfrey Philips, Mobile2Win, Air2Web and Spice Digital where he was heading Mobile Advertising. LiveMedia, a start-up company funded by Draper Fisher Jurvetson, Bay Partners and Samsung, has a network spanning over 3,000 locations covering restaurants, clubs, coffee shops, gyms, salons, office cafeterias, hospitals etc through 6,000 LCD screens spread over 80 cities, towns and rural centres and addressing over 60 million footfalls in a month.
The company has already bagged and implemented mobile campaigns from companies like Microsoft, Max New York Life, IPol and Maruti.
