Video Portal Metacafe Inks Partnership With Vdopia
Online video site Metacafe.com has signed an exclusive partnership with ad network Vdopia, which will enable it to monetise the entire video inventory of Metacafe.com.
The San Francisco headquartered Metacafe offers short-form video content on movies, video games, sports, music and TV. It claims it has 46 million visitors worldwide and more than 5 million in India. Internet analytics provider comScore had announced that Metcafe.com had 3.9 million viewers in India in January 2011, while Facebook had 6.6 million viewers and Youtube had 780.7 million users.
Metacafe's head of international sales and partnerships Tim Rottach has said the partnership with Vdopia will help Metacafe connect with brand advertisers.

Vdopia claims its online and mobile video advertising platform iVdopia is generating profits of $500,000 every quarter, and is now in the process of rolling out its latest product .Vdo, as reported in Techcircle.in. Vdopia competes with various ad networks in India including Jivox, Komli, Smile Group's Tyroo, Networkplay, Media Estate, IndiAds and AdsForIndians. Guruji recently launched a mobile ad platform Adiquity.
